British Airways is to provide gender-neutral uniforms for its staff as part of the company's centenary celebrations, designer Ozwald Boateng has revealed.

More female flight attendants could be encouraged to ditch their famous navy-blue skirts for trousers after the Savile Row tailor was hired to bring a modern twist to the uniform, with jackets and trousers being made unisex.
