Edwards Garment Acquires Andrew Rohan

Kalamazoo, MI, May 9, 2008 – Edwards Garment Co. today announced the acquisition of HMB Sales, Inc. HMB has manufactured and marketed Andrew Rohan brand sweaters to the business-to-business market for over 25 years. Edwards Garment is a rapidly growing manufacturer and supplier of casual and uniform apparel. This acquisition plan is a part of the company’s strategic expansion plan, according to Gary Schultz, President and CEO of Edwards. The Andrew Rohan sweater line becomes part of the Edwards Garment line that includes shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, shorts, suit separates, chefs’ apparel, and aprons.

“Joining forces with Andrew Rohan allows us to take full advantage of the many synergies between the two organizations,” said Schultz. “We serve many of the same customers and the availability of the Edwards line gives Andrew Rohan distributors many more options for their customers. In much the same way, Edwards’ customers will see new opportunities as we add the prestigious Andrew Rohan sweater line to our offering.”

In addition to a broader product line, Andrew Rohan customers will enjoy many of the benefits currently offered by Edwards such as on-site custom embroidery, two-day shipping nationwide; catalog styles in-stock and ready to ship; same day shipping; private labeling; and no re-stocking fees.

Edwards expects a smooth transition. “By retaining key personnel, we will ensure that Andrew Rohan customers receive the same high level of service and quality that they have come to expect,” explained Schultz. Edwards plans to continue to market the full range of styles currently offered by Andrew Rohan. On-site embroidery – already an area of expertise at Edwards – will now be offered with the new sweater line.

Edwards Garment has been manufacturing and supplying corporate, casual, and uniform apparel for over 140 years. The company is privately held and headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan. “Dressing you from top to bottom,” Edwards products are available through a nationwide network of dealers and distributors. Blumenthal's Butler Retires at 99!

After more than six decades of helping law enforcement officers look their best, Butler forcibly retired three weeks ago – just before his 99th birthday. It was doctor's orders. Since then, Butler said, he has felt "terrible" because he misses the police officers and sheriff's deputies he outfitted with uniforms, starting at his Butler's Uniforms Shop in the 1940s.

"I considered my customers my friends," said Butler, who ended his career selling shoes at Blumenthal Uniforms & Equipment, an Arden Way store that caters to police officers and firefighters.

3M INTRODUCES THINSULATE INSULATION FR

A Leader in Warmth and Comfort Adds Flame Resistance Benefits to

Range of Workwear

ST. PAUL, MN, May 3, 2007 – 3M, a leader in nonwoven fiber technology, announced today the launch of

Thinsulate Insulation FR for the occupational workplace.  For more than 25 years, the occupational industry

has recognized Thinsulate insulation as a lightweight material that helps keep workers warm and comfortable.

Now workers can achieve that same level of warmth and comfort with the added bonus of flame resistance.

New Thinsulate insulation FR is designed specifically for garments made for the electrical utility and oil and gas

workplaces, where momentary, unplanned or accidental exposure to flames, heat or electrical arc may occur.

Thinsulate insulation FR has exceptional thermal weight efficiency making it ideal for outdoor environments, so

workers can tackle tough jobs in comfort.

Made from a blend of aramid, modacrylic and polyester fibers, the material is designed as a mid-loft product with

quality drape characteristics to aid in garment styling.  In addition, the lofty fibrous webs trap more air and contain

more of the body’s radiant heat than higher density needle-punched webs, thereby maintaining warmth and

breathability.

“We are a global leader in high-performance materials, with many products to meet rigorous workplace

requirements,” said Chris Sneden, Global Business Manager, Thinsulate Insulation.  “For example,

3M Scotchlite™ Reflective Material has helped enhance workers’ visibility at night.  Now, Thinsulate insulation

FR will add a new layer of reliability to flame-resistant workwear while helping to keep workers warm and

comfortable.”

Penn Emblem Introduces PennWeave

PennWeave combines the luxury of a fully embroidered emblem with the intricacy of a woven label,

making even the most delicate details and tiniest letters seen and read clearly. Before PennWeave, letters

smaller than ¼” in size were illegible when embroidered onto an emblem. Small details within a logo

were lost in translation as well.

PennWeave’s innovative technology makes it possible not only for these intricate details to be visible,

but also crisp and clear. Size of the text and the complexity of the logo are no longer an issue. PennWeave

emblems are also thinner and more flexible than standard embroidery, so they lie flatter on garments,

allowing for a more comfortable feel.

Red Kap Introduces Expansion of Shorts Line

The Women’s Plain Front Short is the perfect complement to the PT26 Men’s Plain Front Short. The

Women’s version has an updated fit and cut, ensuring a professional look. The 7.25 oz. 65/35 poly/cotton

fabric also gives you the durability you expect from Red Kap.

The new Men’s and Women’s Cotton Casual Shorts utilize 7.5 oz. 100% cotton with mechanical stretch

for the best in comfort. These plain front shorts have front and back pockets, a jean-style waistband,

men’s traditional fit, and an updated women’s fit.

Finally, the Cotton Side Elastic Short is 8.5 oz. 100% wrinkle resistant cotton twill. This short is plain

front and has front and back pockets, a traditional fit, and side elastic waistband inserts. It’s a great

comfortable short and has arrived just in time for warm weather.

Also new from Red Kap is the expansion of its lineup of Work NMotion™ styles for men and women.

New styles for 2007 include the PZ60 Men’s Elastic Insert Pant and the PZ43 Women’s Pleated Pant.

The Men’s Elastic Insert Pant is plain front and has front and back pockets, a traditional fit, and side

elastic waistband inserts. The Women’s Pleated Pant has an updated contemporary fit with button

and zipper closure. Both pants are 7.5 oz. stretch twill and utilize a 75/25 polyester/cotton blend.

All Work NMotion™ products use proprietary polyester yarns that do more than just expand. Work

NMotion™ fabric also allows the yarn to shrink back to its normal state, which means better flex and

superior recovery. Mechanical stretch alone can be a cost effective shortcut for achieving flex, but these

fabrics will quickly lose their memory, which leads to sagging. Exclusive Work NMotion™ recovery

yarns ensure ongoing performance for the life of the garment without sagging at the knees and elbows.

Visit www.redkap.com for more information on these innovations as well as other styles.

Perfection Uniforms, based in Brentwood, Tennessee, is one of the fastest growing uniform companies in the US, and our uniforms are distributed internationally through a select network of full service distributors launched its Ergonomic Garment Construction (EGC) System as part of its MatrixSeries line of fabrics at last year’s NAUMD convention amid much fanfare and with great expectation. “Our goal was to take a comprehensive approach to a department’s uniform needs,” explains Steve Gilkeson. “We wanted everyone to know that we’re not just in the shirt and pants business – we’re in the uniform program business.” A year later, Perfection, by its own account, has met and surpassed its goal, winning high marks from existing public safety and police accounts and gaining new customers in the fire and EMS markets. “The MatrixSeries is the biggest splash in the industry that I’ve seen in my 25-year career,” boasts Gilkeson. The MatrixSeries line features high performance poly/cotton twill blends with exceptional UltraDye color depth and retention, stretch comfort, and a UV rating of 40+ - the highest standard for apparel. NEW YORK, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- High-end fashion- inspired uniforms are an

emerging trend in the hospitality and gaming industry, and Cintas, in partnership with top

designers such as Lafayette 148, Cynthia Rowley and Joseph Abboud, is leading this industry trend.

In fact, retail-inspired uniforms gained national exposure this spring when NBC's The Apprentice

featured Apprentice hopefuls working with Lafayette 148 to redesign the apparel for Embassy Suites

 Hotels(R).

Recent market research performed by Cintas concluded that nearly 60% of consumers believe they

will get better quality and service from businesses that feature employees in innovative retail-inspired

uniforms, and almost 70% of consumers say that an employee's appearance directly affects their

expectations of a business's quality of products and services.

"Today's consumer pays more attention to fashion and style," said Dan Ambrosio, Vice-President of

Specialty Sales, Cintas National Account Sales Division. "We know that consumers equate quality

service and attention to detail with better-dressed employees."

As part of its fashion leadership platform, Cintas is also dialing up the style quotient with its

private label uniforms by hiring design talent from top fashion schools, like Parsons School of

Design -- Los Angeles, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the International Academy of Design

and Technology.

Cintas, a winner of countless awards for custom-made apparel including the 2006 NAUMD

"Image of the Year" award for the new-uniform program at the Wynn Resort-Las Vegas, has

NBC's reality show, The Apprentice. Lafayette 148 designed the Workstyle collection to combine

high fashion and quality with the absolute comfort and utility that employees desire. Our partnership

Cintas Reports First Quarter Fiscal 2007 Revenue

and Earnings

Cincinnati , OH , - September 20, 2006 (PRNewswire) – Cintas today reported revenue for the

first quarter of fiscal 2007 of $914.2 million, an 11.0% increase from the previous year’s first

quarter revenue of $823.5 million. Net income of $85.0 million increased 8.3% from $78.4

million last year and earnings per diluted share of $0.53 increased 15.2% from $0.46 per diluted

share last year.

Scott D. Farmer, president and chief executive officer, stated, “On behalf of our Cintas employee

partners, I am proud to report our first quarter results. We have again achieved double-digit

revenue growth and delivered strong operating margins, despite increases in energy costs.

Our earnings before interest and taxes improved a healthy 11.8% over the first quarter of fiscal 2006.”

Mr. Farmer continued, “The implementation of our new sales structure, which we announced a

few months ago, continues to be on schedule. This new structure is designed to develop additional

cross-selling opportunities and improve sales productivity. The new sales organization, in

conjunction with our vast product and service offerings, is expected to drive improvements in

future internal growth.”

The Company’s balance sheet continues to be strong. Despite increased debt levels related to

acquisitions made in late fiscal 2006 and the Company’s share repurchase program, debt to

total capitalization as of August 31, 2006 was only 29%. Cash and marketable securities were

$175 million as of August 31, 2006 . Total shareholders’ equity was $2.05 billion.

Mr. Farmer commented, “Based on our sales results through the first quarter, a leveling off of

to date, we reiterate our fiscal 2007 guidance which calls for fiscal 2007 revenue of $3.77 to $3.85

billion and diluted earnings per share of $2.10 to $2.20. We expect fiscal 2007 to be another

record year at Cintas, which would result in our 38th consecutive year of growth in sales and

 earnings.”

corporate identity uniform programs, and provides entrance mats, restroom supplies, promotional

products, first aid and safety products, fire protection services and document management services
