Uniform Industry Forecast
ITR Economics has a 95% accuracy rate in predicting swings in our economy’s business cycles over the past 60 years. Alex will apply macroeconomic data to the uniform industry to provide insights into our industry’s future and give specific, action oriented recommendations. Alex is a contributor to NPR and the BBC. He specializes in manufacturing and gives over 50 keynote addresses annually. An NAUMD partner, ITR Economics produces the Uniform Industry Forecast, a quarterly publication for association members.
Eric Spackey, President & CEO
Technology’s Impact on Future Apparel Production in the United States
Eric Spackey has been with Bluewater Defense, an innovative, standard- setting apparel manufacturer, since 2009. He has a technology background, and has worked in the diverse industries of healthcare, telecom, finance and manufacturing. He is now applying his expertise in technology to apparel manufacturing in the United States.
Eric is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is a member of the Republican Governors Association Executive Roundtable and works closely with senior government and military leaders.
Neal Waters, President
State of the Association
Neal will review the past year and talk about plans for the future. He will lay out the needs and challenges for the NAUMD to be a better resource for its members and continue to grow its membership. The aspiration of the NAUMD is to be your best source of information about the uniform industry.
Neal was an executive with VF Imagewear and Apparel Sewn Right for 25 years before becoming President of the NAUMD in October, 2015.
